ENGAGEMENT OFFICER / TEACHING ARTIST

Isobel has been part of the theatre world since the age of 9, often cast as villains or male leads
her proudest moment being cast as Rumpelstiltskin, beard and all! She has had the
opportunity to take part in many productions as both an actor and director.

She attended Screenwise Film & TV School for Actors, graduating in 2021, where she
studied the Eric Morris technique, US dialect, TV presenting, and audition technique. She
loves exploring all aspects of performance and brings these skills into her teaching. Isobel
also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Communications from Macquarie University,
majoring in Screen Practice and Production.
A teaching artist since 2017, Isobel has taught in Newcastle, Maitland and for the past four
years, at Marian Street Theatre for Young People. She has had the privilege of working
with many talented students and finds immense joy in watching them grow into kind,
passionate, and creative performers.
Isobel believes theatre should always be fun, a little chaotic, and just the right amount of
magical. She loves being a part of the MSTYP community!
