About

Get creative with MSTYP these school holidays!

MSTYP holds a suite of week long, intensive drama workshops all over the north shore each school holidays.

Working with a professional teaching artist, our students imagine and create a show from scratch, developing characters and story, and build to a performance for family and friends at the end of the week.

They’re a fun way to spend your holidays - creating, making and playing, while learning new skills and making new friends.

Marian Street Theatre for Young People has been an industry leader in theatre education for the last 50 years.

Our workshops:

  • 5 days of drama (3hrs per day) + full day options
  • Lots of locations in Gordon, Killara and Chatswood
  • Create a Performance for family and friends
  • Small class sizes - capped at 14 or 16 students to create the best possible learning environment.
  • Easy online bookings

BONUS

Every student enrolled in our October workshops receives a complimentary ticket to the upcoming production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

What our parents say

"Marian Street is a brilliant and irreplaceable institution for young performers. The tutors are passionate and dedicated and the benefits for kids are countless." - Missy

"A quality theatre company with quality values. I wish I had my time over and could enrol in the drama school, working with professional directors and production/stage crew. My first MSTYP experience was Beauty and the Beast but I'll be back for Aladdin and hopefully Pearlie in the Park. A great initiative for the North Shore community to get behind!" -   Brydie
